her mustard faith
poetry and prose for faith-filled, weary hearts
Welcome, friend
hello
I’m Sina, a writer and poet based in New Zealand. My creative work lives at the intersection of faith, ordinary life, and the human experiences we share—especially as women, mothers, and creatives.
I write poetry to make space, for myself and others. My poetry books read like modern-day psalms and have regularly been described as ‘a balm for heavy souls’.
Alongside writing, I speak at events and facilitate workshops for writers and creatives who want to nurture both their craft and their faith.
If you’re here for the words—welcome. If you’re here because you’d like to enquire about my services—please contact me, I’d love to hear from you.
New poetry book coming soon…
This year, I’m releasing my third poetry collection—a body of words inspired by wildflowers. These poems explore faith, courage, hope, and the quiet confidence of blooming in unexpected places.
Written for women navigating faith, life, and becoming, this collection reflects a deepening of craft and clarity of voice, grounded in both grace and lived experience. Like wildflowers, these poems honour growth that is resilient, patient, and unforced, and this book is an invitation to bloom honestly and gently.
Here’s to the wildflowers. Sign up to receive updates.
